Biography
Frank Filler is a financial markets and public policy specialist, with expertise at the intersection of investment, regulation, and geopolitics. He serves as a Director of the Parley Policy Institute and is an Australian-licensed Principal Financial Adviser and Fund Manager, leading his own financial advisory firm.
Alongside his current role, Frank has held positions across Australia’s financial and public sectors, including with a Big Four bank, a major superannuation fund, and in government advisory roles supporting elected officials. He has also contributed to Australia’s international economic engagement through work supporting Austrade’s mission in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Frank has a strong interest in citizen diplomacy and advancing international cooperation, particularly in support of stability and shared prosperity in the Indo-Pacific. His contributions have been recognised through selection as one of the top 150 New Colombo Plan alumni at its 10-year anniversary and through an invitation from the Government of Taiwan (Republic of China) to lead a delegation of emerging Indo-Pacific leaders.
He is also committed to mentoring and education, recently serving as Lead Educator in the Bond University–BBT Global MBA program, focused on developing cross-cultural leadership capabilities across the Indo-Pacific.
Frank's education, primarily under scholarship at Bond University, includes a Master of Financial Management, Master of Financial Planning, Graduate Diploma of Business, Bachelor of Business (International Business), and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics).
